Charles H. Worsfold
CHARLES H. WORSFOLD graduated from law school in 1976. Mr. Worsfold has developed considerable expertise in the area of civil litigation, with an emphasis on complex construction litigation, commercial litigation, truck accidents, wrongful death, professional liability, employment practices litigation and personal injury litigation. He has tried more than 150 cases to verdict in his 30-year career.
Mr. Worsfold has devoted a significant portion of his practice to products liability litigation in the State and Federal courts of Michigan, as well as other courts throughout the country. He also has significant expertise in the area of employment contracts and, particularly, non-compete agreements.
Mr. Worsfold has served as an instructor and is past chairman of the Hillman Advocacy Program presented through the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Michigan and the Western District of Michigan Federal Bar Association.
In addition, Mr. Worsfold is a Certified Facilitative Mediator in the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Michigan and is qualified as a General Civil mediator in the State courts of Michigan. Mr. Worsfold is also an Advocate with the American Board of Trial Advocates.
Mr. Worsfold has been AV rated by Martindale-Hubbell since 1990.AV is the highest possible peer review rating in legal ability and ethical standards.
Mr. Worsfold has also been named a Michigan "Super Lawyer" for 2010 & 2011. A "Super Lawyer" designation is limited to the top 5% of attorneys in the state.
